The Youth Speed System is a complete 12-week youth speed training program built for athletes of all ages and sports — no gym required. All you need is a park, a backyard, or any open space.
Most youth athletes never get faster because they don’t train speed — they just play their sport and hope it happens. This program fixes that. Every session is designed around the science of speed development: acceleration mechanics, maximum velocity, change of direction, and the strength base that makes all of it possible.
How the Program Works
The program runs 3 days per week across 3 progressive phases, each 4 weeks long. Sessions run 30–45 minutes and build on each other week by week so you’re always progressing — never just going through the motions.
Phase 1 – Foundation: speed mechanics, acceleration technique, and baseline strength. You’ll learn how to run correctly and build the body control to express speed under pressure.
Phase 2 – Development: increased sprint volume, longer acceleration runs, and change-of-direction work. This is where athletes start to feel noticeably faster.
Phase 3 – Performance: max intensity sprint work, competition drills, and full speed expression. By the end of Phase 3 your athlete will be faster, more explosive, and more confident on any field.
Bonus 20-minute speed sessions are included for extra work days when your athlete wants more.
